Inside Sales Manager

iO HVAC Controls, an award-winning manufacturer of HVAC controls, is currently seeking an energetic and driven Inside Sales Manager?to manage our inside and sales teams!

We are looking for a hands-on and ambitious Sales Manager to lead the strategic development of iO HVAC Controls business in all?target markets.

This is a leadership position so, in addition to leading by personal example, you will be responsible for motivating and managing sales teams to achieve sales targets.


The Work You'll Do:

  • Coordinate with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve company objectives for products and services
  • Utilize and actively audit the company CRM software to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer history and sales activity information
  • Host and lead weekly KPI meetings with Inside Sales Team
  • Provide technical product training for customers, as needed
  • Lead staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs
  • Implement sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Represent the company at trade shows to promote products and offerings
  • Motivate and advise reps on performance improvement techniques
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • Aid in the development of training schedules for new hires or current sales representatives
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of sales management experience, preferably in the electrical engineering or HVAC industry
  • Proven leadership and mentoring ability. Experience managing tasks and teams, critical dates and high-level house accounts.
  • Growth and results oriented – seeks business opportunities and expansion
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Requires strategic thinking with ability to conduct market analysis and shift strategies as required.
  • Must be extremely organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent mentoring and coaching skills for a multi-generational team
  • Ability to recruit and train new team members
  • Exceptional customer service skills with ability to provide solutions to customer needs.
  • Consultative mind set with a technical or mechanical aptitude, able to effectively talk with and relate to our customers
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve on your feet.?
  • Persistence and a "do what it takes" attitude.
  • Passion for sales, people, and technology.
